There are two forms of liquid latex and fixed rubber. Styrene odor, not completely soluble in gasoline, benzene and chloroform.
latex was prepared by emulsion copolymerization of butadiene and styrene with rosin acid soap or fatty acid soap as emulsifier and persulfate as initiator, and then coagulated and dried to obtain solid rubber. The 75/25 solid rubber can also be prepared by solution copolymerization of butadiene and benzene Diene in hexane with butyl lithium as catalyst.
Nature:
1. Appearance: Styrene butadiene rubber is a colorless to light yellow granular solid;
2. High tensile strength, good wear resistance, excellent oil resistance and other physical properties.
Usage:
1. Rubber industry: used for producing tires, rubber pipes, flooring materials, etc;
2. Plastic industry: used to produce high-strength and wear-resistant plastic products;
3. Asphalt production: used to improve the durability and weather resistance of asphalt;
4. Raw materials in the fields of coatings, adhesives, sealing materials, etc.
Method:
The preparation of styrene butadiene rubber is mainly achieved through the polymerization reaction of vinylbenzene and 1,3-butadiene, which then undergoes the polymerization reaction to form styrene butadiene rubber.
Security:
1. During the processing of styrene butadiene rubber, harmful gases and vapors will be released, and ventilation measures should be taken;
2. Irritating to the skin and eyes, protective gloves and glasses should be worn when using;
3. Avoid contact with high temperatures and flames, and avoid burning toxic gases;
4. Keep away from children and store in a cool and dry place.
